GeekedFest (Known for it’s popular comic events) have teamed up with Torfaen County Borough Council and Friends of Pontypool Town to bring you a day dedicated to all things Geeky.  Visit the website. We are proud to announce that Costume and Play will be presenting a series of live entertainment pieces from extraordinary talent, bringing a family fun festival vibe to the geeky array of treats on offer; culminating in a spectacular Cosplay finale.

Headline Act

With a decade of Guitar knowledge behind his belt, artist JustDrew will be taking to the stage at Pontypool takeover. His work is inspired by ‘the passionate’ the person getting a coffee on his morning commute to work, the person who plays in the leaves in autumn, the motivated who believe in a better future; it was through this that Drew found his personal passion and began private guitar lessons at the young age of 10.

‘Music is important to me because it keeps me going, music is always there’

Using his love of music to fight through hard times Drew wishes to continue to inspire passionate people to find their personal love.

‘JustDrew’ was born from the connection between one man and his guitar - focusing on the acoustic raw sounds of the instrument.

JustDrew has put together a medley of favorite and iconic sounds ranging from pop to Disney to celebrate and encompass the festival experience.

Vocal Specialist

I am a cosplayer who has been performing in various forms all of my life, from Dance to solo signing. My favourite is straight singing and musical theatre. I sing a variety of songs from all sorts of genre but I love disney songs, a bit of jazz and also rock. I am even known to write the odd parody on occasion too! One or more you might here me perform when I am asked to sing live.

Well known for her cosplay and singing parodies. Kate will be performing a series of songs live on stage.


Princess & Costume Workshop


12:00 PM


Ever dreamed of becoming a princess or perhaps dressing up? Providing a crash course in costumes, cosplay and becoming a princess, one lucky audience member will also get to join in on stage and become a princess! 


MisuMichi Performance
