Want to connect with the characters that make up cosplay? While we predominantly celebrate gaming characters, we will also be including a series of throwbacks to other fandoms and genres. Ranging from TV, Film, Anime and Comics, all cosplay is welcome at Medway! Cosplay Facilitates at the event will include; Repair station and friendly staff on hand to help. Ever wondered how to piece together an Iron man suit or sew your first princess dress? The process of creating costumes can seem a little daunting, ranging from fabric choice to 3D printing! We’ll break all of this down and show you everything; from hands-on experiences to creating full costumes. We can also teach you how to make gauntlets from pringles tubes and some fantastic layered cardboard guns. If you’d like to try out some amazing weapons, learn how a sewing machine works, see some great costumes or simply check out the amount of work that goes into costuming so you can be a seam flipping pro, come and visit us!
If you want to learn to build a cosplay from scratch, perform on stage or simply get involved with the community come and visit us, the Medway stage will host a series of cosplay events with knowledgeable creators and guests to sink your teeth into! What could be better than showcasing your beautiful creation? We will also be hosting a series of photoshoots for any cosplay!

There are so many incredible ways to cosplay! We celebrate all of them from budget cosplay to handmade cosplays that could take years to produce.
We always showcase an array of cosplay talent ranging from cosplayers, cosplay community collaborators, partners, contributors and guests based on a particular skill set, such as prop making and sewing work.
Guests are available to chat about the various aspects of cosplay and to give back to the cosplay community.
I like to make my cosplays on a budget and will used everyday items and cheaper forms of materials to get there! I love to make wings especially! I’m always ready to help others and will share step by step how I make some of my big props!
My best cosplay would have to be my newest, Witch Mercy from Overwatch! I bought the base costume but did the wings, staff and shoes myself! It was an experience making normal shoes upturn at the toe! I only had three days to make all of those parts!
I’ve made 9 big fluffy tails for Ahri from League of Legends and have also made Wattsons pylon from Apex Legends from scratch! From scratch I have also made an entire Arcade Sona cosplay, massive game board prop as well!
I’m super friendly and always ready for a chat! I can offer help and advice on material, sourcing things cheaply and making things too! I also love to talk about all things gaming!
I’ve won a few cosplay competitions! I won Hyper Japans cosplay competition with Annie from League of Legends and also Swansea Geekfest too! My funniest win was winning the Sonic Green Hill Zone speedrun! Warning, I will talk about Sonic for hours! Through my work on gaming and cosplay I’ve had the opportunity to work with Esports Wales, Logitech and also two Overwatch League Teams!
